Adeptus Titanicus game

 

We had a gaming evening of Adeptus Titanicus, first game in ages.
We were rather rusty with the rules but it was lots of fun.

We played a 2 vs 2 game.

I would command my Questoris Knight house on the loyalist side.
Onwards... lets crush the traitors...

My Knight house moves out, lances at the ready...

Casualties are starting to mount up.

Three lances charges a Reaver titan.

As they skewered the Reavers, the machine spirit twisted and turned and let lose a salvo from its gatling gun at a Warhound.

The Macro cannon battery fire at an damaged target that is missing its shields...

And a enemy Reaver titan is taken out.
A small victory in it self for the supporting soldiers loyal to the house...

With all my Cerastus knight lances "spent" my leader is pushing through the enemy lines alone...

Trying to find any kind of terrain for protection...

But it worked, he survived and charged the damaged Warlord...

And the enemy Warlord Titan was taken out by my Senechal...

Later my Senchal was taken out by a Warhound.

In the end all of my knights were taken out in this bloody game, but it was a price that had to be paid for the minor victory for the loyalist...

Questoris knight house, work in progress pictures for Adeptus Titanicus

 

I thought it was about time to post some new work in progress pictures of my Adeptus Titanicus: Questoris knight House.
They belong to the noble house of Naryshkin, its the same noble house that rules the Eastern Fringe Trading Company and the military forces of my Solar Auxilia in Horus Heresy, 30k


So since last time I showed them I have added some more knights, given them all sand and scraps on the bases, details and transfers on some of them. Started working with shading and oils on some of them.

Besides getting them all up to the same level is to decide on the colours I want on the bases, Im thinking on theming them to a mixture of city and desert.
I will have to ad some more chipping, maybe some streaking effect from rain or dirt, pigmentations and dusting on the legs and bases. Im thinking on adding extra banners and flags that flows in the wind.

Yeah and adding even more knights... I managed to catch another one of those Questoris Knight House starter boxes that are oop and really high value for the content so I probably enough knights for a long time ahead.

I thought it was a good time to show some Work in progress pictures on my Questoris knight house for Adeptus Titanicus.

I wanted to continue on the Knight House that belongs to my noble house I use as the ruling elite in Horus Heresy. Most notable from my friend Håkans and mine Campaign - Parvana Mahrukh http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.com/search/label/Campaign%20-%20Parvana%20Mahrukh and some 30k event I have participated in.

The 28mm version was fielded at the Ajax event last summer as the heavy hitting element of my force.

Originally I bought them a couple of years ago for my Death Korps of Krieg but I so rarely play 40k nowadays I thought it was better to give them a better home on the backs on my Questoris Knights.
