Snowy bases

I did a test base with snow. 

 

I wanted the autumn grass to be seen between the snow patches. I think Im gonna use this technique on the miniatures on my painting table. More on them later on…

Now I just need to figure out what to use this test base for. Maybe some kind of terrain piece in DBA or add some trees or shrubbery and get better usage of it.

A miniature me…

Little Tuva was born on the 6th of march and have kept her mom and me busy ever since.

It’s a whole new world and another chapter of life. 

I have managed to squeeze in a couple of minutes here and there when she and her mom are sleeping but painting and not to speek of gamingtime has been virtually nil.

I have a couple of half painted miniatures I hope to finish in these rare “spare minutes”…

Luftwaffe Fieldtroops

I always had a soft spot for Luftwaffe troops.

All of a sudden the mechanics and ground personal were given a rifle and with almost no training they were sent to the front.

 

The miniatures are 15mm from Battlefront.

I bought them once in an attempt to be able to play them as the 16^th Luftwaffenfelddivision, but has yet only painted this squad. One more squad is still in its blisterpack, hopefully they will see a battlefield sometime in an distant future.

And as a sidenote I just wanted to say that its a baaaad thing when you got King Tigers running about...

A friend and I just got our asses handed to us by some big cats in the latest game.

PzIIC, DAK

Its been a while since I painted any 15mm WW2 stuff. But now when Battlefront is releasing the third edition and a friend started to talk about earlywar I couldn´t help my selves.

I open up the drawer with half painted miniatures (its rather crowded…) and brought some Panzer II into the light.

Now their painted up in dessert cammo and markings are added. Their good to go.

Panzer Aufklärerläufer 1-A “Heinrich”

A new spring… The flowers are blooming and a new year with better air protection is at hand.

I give you the latest model in the German recon and anti air arsenal, the Panzer Aufklärerläufer 1-A “Heinrich” armed with a FlakVierling 2cm cannon.

I just thought I should test some new techniques and had a spare model to do it on. It turned out great. And it was lots of fun to paint.

You must all be wondering why the peacefully gnomish populations are taking to arms, the answer lays in the aggressiveness of the trolls.
