Alpha Legionnaires

I have some time painted on these Alpha Legionnaires reinforcements.
I wanted to raise the standard on them. This is a collection of reinforcement miniatures, two combi plasmas for a veteran squad, a vexilia and a couple of standard Legionnaires for a regular tactical squad with additional hand weapons.

It is really hard to take a good pictures on them and the pictures does not give them the full justice they deserve. I tried with a darker background but still some of the details and colours differentials are lost.

Forest goblin warband

Here we have my complete Forest Goblin tribe.

If I use the rules for gibmob gobbos (regular goblins) for my forest goblin infantry this force is now up to 840pts.
A small force but all together I think they are really cool.

And I took some pictures outside in terrain...

But as a friend told me, I really need to start taking pictures with a black or dark background. As the miniatures are rather dark, much of the details are lost in this bright setting.

Spider riders

I finished the bases on my Spider riders to my slowgrowing Forest Goblin army.
My Forest Goblins have been a badly prioritised side project slowly slowly being worked on from time to time for maybe two years now, but it feels really good to finally putting up finished miniatures.

They might not be painted to the standard of some of my other miniatures but as this is a sideproject and Im more interested in the army feel rather then the looks of specific miniatures in this army Im more then happy with them.

The plan was to have rather heavy forest undergrowth on the bases and the tightly packed miniatures will make the gaming table come to life when they are deployed.
Im rather happy with the bases and I think it worked out.

I hope to post some pictures of the whole Forest Goblin army soon.
