Norsemen Drengr

Drengr

I wanted some light infantry for my Norsemen and found it in these miniatures from Griping Beast. I added some wire spears and they were ready for a quick paintjob.

These miniatures will depict Dregr in my collection.

Old Norse drengr = 'young man, bold man'

The Drengr was free men but not holding any own land, instead worked for a another on his land.

The sculpts are a little special… I like the sculpts and some of the faces are really good, but the arms are to short. They are not able to wipe their own bums with those short arms…
