We had a great game of Battlegroup https://www.battlegroup.uk/
I had almost forgotten how good these rules are and it was nice to play another game of it.In this game we had the British facing of the Germans where I would be commanding the British side.
In the first scouting face I had an armoured car and the german had a sniper and a halftrack mounting an 2cm autocannon..
Their luftwaffe troops had deployed a 88 anti air cannon in the village so I had to try to sneak my way forward.
I tried to hide my armoured car behind a house. But the halftrack had spotted me and engaged.
The gunfight must have scared the luftwaffe troops and the fled the field after I pulled a "Confused" marker. Abandoning their mighty 88 gun when they got spooked I felt a big relief.
The gun fight continues, neither of us manages to strike penetrating hit.
But eventually the German half track finds a weak point in the armour and my armoured scout car is destroyed.
German panzer forces have arrived. The mighty Panzer V, Panthers...
But I had a timed airstrike from an Typhon closing in...
I tried to get closer to the enemy by crossing the bocage.
Infantry with lots of wounded pulls back, geting some much needed rest on the other side of the bocage.
The timed airstrike with the Typhon takes out a Panther.
Trying to use the terrain I try to close in on the mighty Panthers, seeing no point in engaging them from the front.
One of my half tracks gets stuck trying to cross some bocage.
A Sherman is taken out by a Panther at close range.
What a blast.
I really like the Battlegroup rules and have always had lots of fun with it.

We didn't have time to play it till the end and had to cut it
It was a close game but in the end the Germans had taken less casualties. Counting how much moral was left of each force I think it was something like 90 vs 95 points left. So it was a close game but I couldn't inflict enough damage on those big cats.
