Napoleonic civilians

I painted some civilians for my Napoleonic collection.
The miniatures are from Perry miniatures.
They are intended to hand around on the gaming table to add extra details.

Napoleonic casualty markings

 

I have painted another batch of French Napoleonic casualty markings. Im guessing I have gone a little overboard with number of wounded by now but they are easy and quick to paint.
Some of them are plastics wounded from Perry boxes and some are 3d printed by my friend Tobias, Im guessing he have some evil motives to give me wound markings....

Napoleonic artillery

 

Just painted some artillery for my Napoleonic french.
The miniatures are all from one box or rather bag as they are sold in now a days from  Victrix so I felt it was a good idea to batch paint them all in one batch.
Fun and rather quick to paint.

MWW9 - Horus Heresy, Malmö Wargamming Weekend 9, day 2

Day two of the event of Malmö Wargames Weekend 9.

I didnt take nearly enough pictures of the second day. But here under is what I managed to take.




First game of the day my Solar Auxilia would be facing Barrys Mechanicum.
Lots of big robots and a even bigger Brass scorpion. It was fun to see it on the gaming table, having only seen it on Forge Worlds homepage on internet.
Scary army, ok ok, to be fair... All armies looks scary when you have toughness 3...
At least I outnumbered them...

So the plan for this game is to send wave after wave of my own men until the they killbots hit their preset kill limmit... 

 

The plan worked somewhat...
Lots and lots of casualties but I think I managed to wear them down and hold down objectives just long enough... 

The last game would be against Night Lords.

The same gaming table as last game but I didnt bother trying to change with anyone. It was easy to get all the miniatures to the right table this way...
With other deployment zone it felt as a totally different gaming table anyway.

With a roll of, it was decided that my Solar Auxilia would be the attacker against a Robins Night Lord army with deepstrikes and outflank. Im guessing my High Commander noticed a buildup of Night Lords forces in the vicinity and ordered an all out assault before they could fully muster... 
As my Lord Marshal have attended the best military schools money can buy, heck his noble family have build and own the military academy... it was just as the textbooks he had studied said...
Trying to catch them on the backfoot, hit them before they are prepared.
 

Another awesome opponent.
I felt that me outnumbered them really put a lot of pressure on the Night Lords, pushing all over the table with fast moving transports on the flanks moving just close enough to stay out of close combat, pinning them down with the artillery and tanks. 

This is the last post of the event.
 
I had a blast, got a great feeling for the new edition and learned a lot, got lots of nice games and met even more nice dudes and dudettes. 

An really awesome event and a big thanks to Gustav and all the other persons behind the event.

MWW9 - Horus Heresy, Malmö Wargamming Weekend 9, Army on parade

Here are the "army of parade" kind of pictures I took from the Horus Heresy armies on the Malmö Wargaming Weekend 9.


Its funny that you attend an event, meets lots of people and sees loots of cool looking armies but their are even more people that you didnt even say hi to or cool armies that you totally missed.
Here under are the pictures I managed to captures at least. Now in hindsight I wanted to have even more pictures of each army and zoom in on particular cool conversions och paintjobs but I guess its just for me to attend more events so I can capture them next time.


First out is my own Solar Auxilia. I just love taking these kind of army pictures, the sum of all the individual units are greater then each unit of their own and the armies looks even more impressive together.
You rarely takes pictures of your own full army, I think event like this is the only time you actually do it.
