Norse battered markers

I needed some battered/ disorder markers and I have seen other people use shields and thoughts that would be nice.
Here are some Norse shields for just that.

French Crusading Serjeants

Next up for my Crusading French force is a small unit of Serjeants bearing the colours of the House of Lusignan http://wappenwiki.org/index.php/House_of_Lusignan

The miniatures are from Fireforge Games, one head is Gripping Beast and I used some of the foot Searjants bits like arms without chainmail, armed with spears and so on to get a lighter feel to these. To better differentiate them from the fully armoured knights.

I noticed that the lion on the banner is turned wrong side on one side of the banner but that will hardly be noticed on the gaming table, and hadnt I pointed that out here its unlikely any one would ever would had... hehe

Norse buildings

Here are some buildings for my Norsemen, nothing fancy. A quick paintjob but it will do.

I used a towel as the roof. Also seen are some wip Norsemen showed for scale.

 I didnt glue the roof on so it is detachable, I havnt made any works on the interior as I wanted to build and paint these quickly. 

Hydra and Atlas, wip

Some really late night painting yesterday resulted in some new Work in progress pictures on my Atlas recovery vehicle and my Hydra AA-tank. There are still lots of work left but they starts to look nice.

French knights

As the weather was somewhat good today I took some outdoors pictures. The light is so much better and it shows the details on the miniatures more in that way.

The miniatures are from Fireforge games but with some bits from other sources and as I mentioned some greenstuff for further variations.
Some of the heraldry on the knights is historical and some are just made up, reasoning that their must be countless numbers of noblemen that did not make it into the history books.

Flock, basematerials..

The trees from across the park where I live have really "gifted" me with basematerials..

Im not totally sure on what type of terrain or miniatures they fit but I'm guessing they will come in handy in the future.

So go out there and bring lots of zip bags...
