Pictures from our "Veterans night"

Last Friday we had a "veterans night" at our club. With an age of 18+ it was okey to drink some beers at the club with was tasty indeed.

We tried to focus on some games we normally didn´t play that often and I bought my small fleet for Trafalgar, my Shaltari for Dropzone Commander and my collection of DBA to the club.


Here are a small picture dump of the event. Much fun was had with friends.
Although I didnt game any Dropzone Commander this day at least my miniatures took to the fields and won a victory in the hands of a friend.
























And I finally did get to play with my Athenians, they have been waiting in their box since I painted them.

My enemy would be one of Xerxes 1000th conquered nations. I think they were Neo-Assyrians, dating back a couple of hundreds years before mine I guess but lets not be picky.

    Looks like you had a realy greate evening with loots of interesting games !

    At our club theres alway beer ready in the cooler;) but then we are a dinosaur club to...think the youngest member are 28...

      Thanks Michael.

      We are at least theoretical a "ungdomsförening" (club for younger people ?) for economic reasons. And as such no alcohol allowed under normal circumstances. But at special events we its perfectly okay as long as there are no kids around.

      To bad this also means that the most games played here are Warhammer and Warhammer 40k.
      I tries to introduce new “non GW” games from time to time and some members tag along but this is a GW oriented club no hands.

    That looks really nice. I am especially curious about the naval combat. Was the rules Trafalgar? and are they any good (if it now was those rules ;).

      Thanks Conny.

      The Naval rules was as you mention Trafalgar from the now deciesed Warhammer Historical.
      I like the rules even thoe we have just gamed a couple of games as of yet. I hanv´t tried out any other naval rules so I cant compare them with any other naval rules,

      It was ages ago we played Trafalgar so we chose to have just a small amount of ships to speed up the gameplay. I and Daniel first played one game on our own and then we had demo games for other members of the club now when we were more familiar with the rules.
