More Modern Russians

I finally managed to complete another batch of Russians.

The Fantasy project did get a grip on me and I got a bit carried away. That meant that my other project did lose some speed…
But here they are, some heavy hitting Russians. Models from Under Fire Miniatures and painted in (mostly…) partizan camouflage.

  1. Photos are a little dark but very atmospheric. From what I can make out, you've done an excellent job on the Russian camo. I'm envious!

  2. If you have any tips on the colours you used I'd be grateful. I have a pile of these waiting to be painted.

Oh! Really like your bases too. All in all they look like they've stepped out of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

  5. The light green colour is Vallejo 833 "German cam. bright green"

Dont let that picture on maelstroms page fool you. It is bright green.

For the basic green uniform without camo I went with the Vallejo 924 "russian uniform ww2" http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/index.php?act=pro&pre=val_hob_mcl_pnt_193_000
