Battle for Kursk, WWII - Battlegroup AAR

At the end of the summer my friend Tobias held a massive WW2 Battle for Kursk event.
We used the excellent Battlegroup rules from The Plastic Soldier Company.

Tobias had put A LOT of work in to get all the terrain together as well ass painting almost all the Soviet and German forces for this event.
Really impressive.

We were three players on each side and Tobias acted rule and game master for the event.

It was a really fun game day.

I took the overall command of the Soviet forces and personal command of the center.
My t34 force had real problem facing tigers and pzIV and other german forces in the middle but we had better luck on the flanks.

It was a tight game with lots of burning tanks at the end (mostly mine...), but there are plenty more t34 were they come from...

So please take the time and check in some of the pictures from the game day we had.
Especially the last ones that Tobias edited, they look great.
