40k 8ed game
We had another 40k 8th edition game with 3x 1000pts armies on each side.
I would dust of my old Sisters of Battle and ally with Space wolves and Dark Eldar and we wound meet two Eldar forces and one Ork force.
In the middle of the forest an military base wound be the centre of attention.
The Orks are up for a quick start.
Imperial and Dark Eldar forces moves out.
My Rhino is taken out by the Eldar Wraith Lord, I disembark behind the large brown building in an attempt to get protection from that beast. But apparently this tactic meant the opposite, the Wraith Lord could later charge me but I could fire at him as a charge response.
My Exorcist have a nice firing line here...
A lone surviving Burna boy, I tried to back him over with my Rhino but it feels almost impossible to get that 6 to hit with a vehicle in close combat now a days.
We are pushing hard...
A unit of Sisters of Battle had disembarked their Rhino and moved up to burn some Eldar with their flamer and heavy flamer. After that I ordered a charge to try to finish them of.
Space Wulves charges the Eldar firing position on the hill.
We tried to swarm the big big Ork moving fortress. I used my Sisters to block him from disembarking closer to the centre as one of our objectives for this turn was to keep the enemy a couple of inches from the centre, marked red.
Here we called it a day, the Eldar and Ork forces was ahead in points and was deemed the winners. But they had almost no forces left and we still had more to push with.
Had the game continued Im sure it would have looked differently.
This was a really great game and I had lots of fun playing my Sisters of Battle again.

Sisters of Battle, special weapons
I need lots and lots of special weapons for my Sisters of Battle, here are a small reinforcement. Some are older models repainted and some are newly converted.
I had an Heavy flamer from an Leman Russ kitt that I cut i half and could make two regular flamers out of it.
The meltaguns are from some Imperial Guard or Space Marine kit.
And while painting these I tossed in a Sister Hospitaler in that batch.

Sisters of Battle Retributors
I got a little new crush for my old Sisters of Battle again.
Here we have some Retributors repainted to my "new" colour scheme... (just switched to this a couple of years ago...)
Unfortunately I was a little lazy when it came to paint stripping of the old miniatures and some of these have a little to many layers of paint on them...
I shot some pictures inside also. They didnt turn out as good as those taken outside but I could as well share those to.

40k Megabattle
Yesterday we had a megabattle of 40k.
I brought along 1000pts of my Sisters of battle, not much to brag about but thats about what I have painted (or rather repainted to the "new" paintscheme I decided on a couple of years ago) and I have trouble playing with unpainted miniatures.
All in all I think it was around 5000 pts on each side.
My Sisters would support the Imperial Guards and we would be facing renegade: Salamanders and 30k Space Wolves, Space Marines.
It was a really nice game with some tense moments.
These fallen wolves were lead by what we think is an daemon prince.
The renegade Salamander leader placed a large hammer in the front lobe of Sister Superior Ofelia in an challenge...
But after the second round of fighting my Canoness, the Priest and the Battlesisters could take the monster down...
Celebrating behind the large rock, waiting for further marines pushes to our artillery placements.
The large blob of conscripts were reinforced by a Priest, an Commissar and I Psyker that managed to cast Invisibility so even with horrendous losses they held most of the enemy at bay...
My Sisters had disembarked from their Immolator and captured objective 4, giving us lots of points.
The rampaging Dreadnought charged our Leman Russ tank and even with only one hit in close combat it managed to take it out.
Snipers shot at them, and Terminators charged them and slaughtered them to the last sister but their Immolator transport were still kicking and that meant I was able to contest objectives and thus denying them 3 points. And with the guards denying them points elsewhere the renegades didnt get any points at all this round and they were starting to fall behind pointwise.
And because of that we decided to call it a day.
A victory for the blessed warriors of the Imperium...
