Wip Land Raidet Proteuses

Some time ago I bought two old school Land Raiders from my friend Kristoffer. They where in pretty bad shape as having served many years as scrap tanks in his Ork army.

The idea was to de-orkyfy them and try to save them.

It was a project to fun not to try.

A lot of thinking, experimentation and work has been put into this project but Im really happy how well they turned out. Its just some small work with some added bolts, maybe an radioantenna and some boxes but they are almost finnished.

I still think these old models look like shit but having tried to copy a the modern Forge World Proteus model I think they look better.

Work in progress, Death Korps of Krieg Hellhound

I wanted to get my Death Korps of Krieg a Hellhound but I didnt want a box standard one...

So here we got som work in progress pictures, pre painting.
I wanted to borow some design element from the Malcador Infernus but put on the much smaller Chimera chassi.
Besides the fuel cart behind the vehicle I also wanted to add shurtzens for added protection.

The fuel cart is attached by magnets, glued on a small plastic pearl(?) "aprehended" from the kids so the cart is able to twist.

Edit: The painted vehicle can now be found at: http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.com/2020/06/death-korps-of-krieg-hellhound.html

Pictures from 'Hobbydag i ett skjul' painting course

Some weeks ago we had a small get together and had a painting weekend, where we helped each other to test out techniques, learn about how an airbrush works, the idea with pre-shading, oil paints and chipping techniques.

It was a nice weekend and it was really interesting to test a lot of things that I had a idea how it works or the idea behind it. But is another thing to actually take the time and try it out your self instead of just looking at them on Youtube or from one of the painting books that can be found.

Here are some pictures from the event.
