Warhammer Old World Escalation campaing 2, game 3

 
Game 3 of our Warhammer Old World Escalation campaign event 2.

In the last game for the day we ended with an multi battle.
My Elves would be honoring the ancient alliance between the elves and dwarfs to combat the forces of Chaos, marauding barbarians siding with an fallen Bretonnian nobleman. 

I manages to get of the all important charge with my Ellyrian Reavers.
The added charge bonus of cavalry spears and striking before the opponent makes all the difference when you are a puny elf with tinfoil armour...

Our hero are here seen chasing after those barbarians fleeing from his skills at arms...

My Silver helmes champion having recovered the wounds from the first game are here seen again taking on the that Nurgle infested berzerker champion...
And the unit is charged both by Silver Helmes and Ellyrion Reavers... trying to dish out a lot of pain in combined strike...
This time the Silver Helmes champion manged to win the challange.

Pursuing the fleeing barbarians my Silver helmes got in contact with some peasants with halberds.  

After a bloody fight my Silver helmes had managed to chase down another unit. He was alone now but have managed to push straight through the enemy lines and capture an objective...

The cavalry of the Ellyrian horse tribe had been extremely lucky this day and the enemy had been defeated with the assistant of my old allies. 
Lets just hope the dwarves can remember this alliance and forgive all grudges so we can continue pursue the forces of the dark gods in the future when they have regrouped and returned... 

Wow what a game, my cavalry managed to get in all those all important charges and carried the day this game. I had so much luck this game, I managed to succeed with some really really important dice rolls this game that made all the difference, with some bad dice rolls my army can crumble rather quickly.
But not this day. This day the horsemen of Ellyria shined through...
