Swordmasters of Hoeth

 

Its time...

This is my Swordmasters of Hoeth collection repainted. 

I tried some new techniques with shadows and such, they didnt turned out exactly as intendended but it will do.

The collection is all metal from different edition with the exception of the nobleman with the Loremaster honour seen by himself casting a firebolt.

This is an oooold miniature that will act as an noble with the Warden of Saphery honour. Its not an GW miniature, but he will fit as the design element shares so many simularities.

Initially I really didnt like him but with a new paintjob and some kind of nostalgy for his age I instead love him now.

The miniature is/was from Heartbreaker miniatures, sculpted by Tim Prow

The Loremaster honour makes the character a lv1 mage, gives him a sword of Hoeth and he can wear armour even when casting his spell.

The fireball and the egde of the sword is painted with flourecent paints that really pops under a UV light...

Seriusly... look at that fireball. Flourecent paint is the shit for this kinds of effects.

And for fun I run a quick AI rendition, with mixed result.
