Bågskyttar tillhörandes Eriksätten
I just painted a couple of archers for my medieval Scandinavian project.

The miniatures are a combination of plastic bits from different makers and a couple of metal miniatures tossed in to the mix for that added variation. But most of the miniatures are from Gripping Beast plastic archers, and I must say that I rather like them. Much so then I first thought I would.
They are painted rather generic but are intended to represent a group of archers belonging to the House of Eric.

I wanted more archers as I have the plan to one day set up the battle of Lena in 1208.

The miniatures are speedpainted as these are more rank and file miniatures and not some noblemen in newly washed clothes. The miniatures are not even highlighted... They deserves better then this but I wanted to clear up some older miniatures I have had half painted for ages and this felt like the right way to do it. Sorry...
They are all based on 40x40mm mdf bases for easy movement and to easy change up the formation or move around terrain on the table.
I think 40x40mm is a nice balanced size for this.
