Battle under the city of Paimanah, Parvana Mahrukh System. Horus Heresy campaing game 6
This will be the sixth episode of our campaign of Parvana Mahrukh, set in the world of Horus Heresy, 30k
In our previous battle (http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.com/2019/04/khurshid-area-of-city-of-paimanah.html) we followed the actions of the East Fringe Trading Company's actions of attacking the Expeditional Protection Force and its roadblock and tollbooths in city of Paimanah located in the Khurshid area.
What we will see here is the action taken place at roughly the same time but under the ground.
As the Eastern Fringe Trading Company planed the attack on certain areas in the city an underground attack aimed at capturing the wares, supplies and valuables collected by the Expeditional Protecting Force in their main job of keeping the local warlords separated and balanced.
This stacks of supplies is worth a lot of wealth and the owners of the Eastern Fringe Trading Company, the House of Naryshkin wants to get a hold of this...
So Håkan and I decided to play a game of Zone Mortalis. We decided on a 800pts strong force and gave the militia an ´half cost on provenances´on the Force Commander handicap (but not on upgrades on regular units) to compensate the way provenances are costed in lower point games.
And we allowed the militia to instead of maximum 15 to get to a maximum of 20, because lets face it... 15 Astartes is not the same as 15 militia...
Its time to charge in with krak grenades...
This means that my opponent came out on top.
What this means is that most of the supplies gathered up by the Expeditional Protection Force are kept by them.
The Eastern Fringe Trading company had fail in their goal to capture the valuables.
For this battle I had painted a new Legate Commander and a Castelax... Both of the suffered horrific by the "new model syndrome" and was the first two models to die in this game... Better picture of them can be found here: http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.com/2019/11/solar-auxilia-legate-commander-and.html
