Warhammer Old World Escalation campaing 1, game 2

For the second game of our escalation campaign my Ellyrian warband cought up with some Night Goblins towing an magical stone.  

Using my speed I set the Ellyrion Reavers out on the flanks and threaten the Nigh Goblins from all sides. The Night Goblins hugged the center trying to protect the magicad stone they had raided from some Skavens.

After some skirmishing with the archery of my Reavers and my Reaver Noble I sent them in to engage the squigs.
They managed to take out the first unit of "jumpy" squigs, the Reavers tired out but the Elven Noble pushed even further and charged a unit of squigs with their herders. 

With his Ithilmar sword swinging, squigs are chopped to pieces...

My Ellyrian Silver helmes closes in...

My Elven Noble pushed the squigs and their herders back with casualties and they panicking all over the place. Some of the squigs flees packwards and forces further panicking in the Nigh Goblin lines.

But...
In the commotion one of the squigs attacked my Noble and he fells from his horse... 

The Ellyrian warband pushes forward, encircling what is left of the Nigh Goblins.

This game ended in a win for my High Elves.

A fun game that was closer then one might first think looking on the pictures. Had the Night Goblins holed on just one turn more I think the Night Goblins would have won.
